I fancied writing a short message for you all. Well, directed at those who likely won't read this, but who should. I am dedicating this to the majority (which you likely aren't, because you find yourself here) who will read this again doubting what it is I am capable of... because, trust me, I am capable of more than you put me down to.
To those who have forever dismissed my ideas as zany, laughable, and childless: know that you have missed out on the opportunity to stand next to me during press conferences, interviews, and dinner parties.
To those who had critiqued my posture and my mannerisms: just know it was you who made me feel small. But at 5"9, I tower over most of you bitches anyway.
To those who continue to undermine my work: This project has held a very special place in my heart for over 9 years. It is ultimately a motivation battle with myself to complete it before time runs out. The AI revolution will see millions displaced from creative industries, rotting the very core of what it means to be human.
To those who joked that I would change my name again: It's still Avéline almost 5 years later, and I have no desire to let go of it.
To those who have genuine doubts that I will complete this project: I will. I understand that the average lifespan of my work is 2 weeks, a dozen dead Instagram accounts, and ideas which end up in landfill, but 'THE PARALLEL' is like a zombie; it's been eating me alive for years.
To those who have supported me despite all of the setbacks: I know exactly who you are, and you won't be left empty-handed once things finally go in the right direction.
